Q11195 - FAQ: What would cause calerpa algae in the fuge to turn to mush and dye??

Hello and thank you for your inquiry.

Normally when you see this happen there is either a swing in water parameters, temperature change or lighting change.

I would suggest cleaning out any of the dead caulerpa, doing a few water changes, double check your water quality and if your light is getting old over your refugium to change it out.

If there is anything else we can do for you please let us know.
